My Work

After discovering a Pentax K-1000 buried in a closet, I was initially drawn to the mechanical elegance of the older photography equipment. This curiosity only later extended to acts of interpreting light and capturing images.

A biologist by training, I have the fortune of traveling for academic and professional studies; affording the opportunity to explore new subjects and environments.Throughout these experiences in applied ecology and field research, I am rarely without a camera. Photography offers a great medium to re-interpret and share these experiences.
